Description
The Quintana Roo Kilo triathlon bike's greatest claim to fame is the fact that it is responsible for getting more triathletes hooked on the sport than any other bike in its class. If you are craving a slick ride, a light aerodynamic frame completely, and kick-butt and take name performance, Quintana Roo's Kilo is your fix. Designed to conquer the toughest race courses around the world, the Kilo's custom-butted AN-6 aero tubset is continually imitated by QR's competitors.

Price Paid: $900.00

Model Year: 2005

Pros: Carbon Fork/Shimano 105/End Shifters..overall good components

Cons: The seat was horrible. Switched to a Azoto Tri Saddle

For the amount I paid, direct from the manufacturer, I feel that I got an excellent bike for the buck. Having to be on a tight budget, I needed to find a dependable beginner tri bike. The folks at ABG were great in assisting me in finding exatly what I needed.

Price Paid: $1841.00

Model Year: 2006

Pros: Great bike with trickle-down technology... good component set and very light.

Cons: - Stock seat and aero bars not the best choice.- Buying from Nytro

I owned an older Kilo and when it was time to update my ride I didn't even hesitate to get another one. The 06 has been updated with tear-drop surfaces all around and boasts a true aero seat post. For the price, I feel like I got a much more expensive bike. The handling is even better than my old QR, very responsive, great on hills!
