Great Choice

Pros: location, selection, staff seem cool. SD Tri-Club Member!
Cons: none yet!
Good Selection and knowledgeable staff. Very friendly and as a result I will be buying my bike from there without a doubt. I have been to Nytro and others, but find that Hi-Tech really knows their stuff. Plus, they are competitive and offer tri-club discounts as well. Not to mention some staff members are Ironmen themselves which makes their opinions even more valuable. Take the time to check them out.

Pros: Excellent, knowledgable staff. Competitive prices, club discounts, and great selection
Cons: NONE
My wife bought her bike from Hi-Tech and she was impressed by the service and friendliness of the staff so I checked it out as well. I've been to Nytro and other shops but nobody can touch Hi-Tech. They built up 3 different bikes for me to test ride and spent hours dialing in the fit so that I could make the best choice. They offer discounts and they are not overpriced plus they have a great selection of components and clothing for all levels. They've earned my business!

I had already purchased a bike before visiting hi-tech, but decided to go there since it's my nearest shop and because they offered a great discount for my tri-club. I needed EVERYTHING besides the bike for a triathlon. I wish I remembered the employee's name that helped me because he was really helpful. He took the time to answer all questions I had and only sold me what I needed. What I liked especially was that he sold me the best gear FOR ME and not just the most expensive stuff.
On subsequent visits though, I have not always had the same great service since I wasn't dealing with him. The other employees didn't seem as concerned with someone only buying clothes and parts. If you weren't looking for a bike, they weren't looking to help. One employee in particular is at the computer everytime I go in there and seems annoyed when he's asked a question. That's understandable if he's catching up on purchase orders or whatever, but I'd like to think if you're the only one on the sales floor that you should be willing to help.
