Pros: Comfortable, stiff during sprints/climbs, supple ride, great componants, finish of the frame is the highest gloss I have ever seen! my first experiance with 10 speed is great!
Cons: The only issue I have is that while I will race on this bike, I also plan on riding it on my long solo rides. The the seat tube being as tall as it is there is very little seat post sticking out of the frame. This makes it impossible to have my seatpos. After 600 miles that frame developed a crack that Trek said was "just cosmetic". Sorry but on a $4K bike, I expect cosmetics to be perfect. After many new buyers experianced the same issue, Trek agreed to replace the frame, 6 months later it came in but the left rear drop out was drilled wrong now I have to send it back bacause my wheel rubbed on the chainstay. Not sure what the QC problems are at Trek but if Lance had to put up with the same sh*t that I have, he would be riding someone else's bike!Hopefully my third frame which is ordered will be right and I can move on with my life!
This being my first tri bike (been racing on a Lemond with steel frame) I could not believe how responsive it was! It climbed like a mountain goat and sprinted very strong.
@ 5'11" and a med build the Medium size fit me perfect and all I had to do was lower the saddle to have a real "at home" comfort on the bike.
Trek web site did not mention the Profile Ironman carbon areo bars and I was very happy to see bars of this quality.

Scary Fast Bike

Pros: That carbon ride. Some people love it, some people hate it. I love it. Better climber than you'd expect.
Cons: Lousy descender. Very slack seatpost angle.
On my first outing on a familiar TT course, I nearly broke my own PR -- in the middle of the off season! This bike rails.
