Coaching by Chandler Collins 5 out of 5 stars

Reviewed by: Michael Patrick, Mon Dec 31 2002

I was training in cycling for longer rides and when I contacted Chandler Collins to learn more about Chironian Endurance I was surprised when he asked me about my diet and eating habits. He offered good advice along the lines of expert nutrition and overall kinesiology.

I ended up getting excellent advice from him that put me in much better shape in re leg positioning for long rides. If and or when I decide to tackle swimming, I will go back to him for mainline coaching.

Balance and Patience 5 out of 5 stars

Reviewed by: L. Miller, Mon Dec 31 2002

I muddled through six sprint distance races always side-stroking the swim. I studied and practiced Total Immersion swim techniques which led me to Chandler Collins of Chironian Endurance. Last year, my second season, I became a more fluid freestyle swimmer and have learned to use my heart rate to determine how I should train. I have read books and could get a training plan many places but none would give me the customized, individual attention that Chandler delivers. I am able to fit the plans easily into a hectic life and no longer stress about how I will get in my workouts... not to mention taking the guess work out of the type of workout. I have remained injury free and have the confidence I am not in danger of overtraining. Without Chandler I would not have had the success of my first 1/2 Ironman and first marathon. He has taught me balance in the water and in training; and patience in knowing slowing down can win MY race!
