Description
14 miles Canoe/28 miles Mountain Biking/7 miles Trail Run
Fun & Challenging race through the Chippewa National Forest
Swim Course
Canoe-14 miles through 8 lakes, 2 small shallow channels, a 3/4 miles narrow meandering, weedy creek and a short upstream section of river. 6 portages (with a total distance of 1.8 miles) are flat and well maintained.
Bike Course
28 miles mountain bike route will follow forest roads and trails through the Ten Section area of old pine forest and the Mi-Ge-Zi Bike Trail will bring you the last few miles back.
Run Course
The 7 mile running leg will follow the southeast shorline of Cass Lake, the shore of pristine Strawberry Lake and possible a and beach run if water levels permit. Most of the run will be on unpaved surfaces: sod, footpaths, and woods roads.
