Description
Come join us for this educational, inspiring, fun and rejuvenating weekend !!!!
Retreat Theme
Using the powerful pairing of both ChiRunning®/ ChiWalking® and Yoga, this weekend will teach you how to move and live from your core. We will teach you how to be more aligned, balanced, flexible, strong, relaxed, aware, focused and intentional, whether you are a runner, walker or practice yoga.
About the ChiRunning® and ChiWalking®
ChiRunning®/ChiWalking® takes the impact, effort and injury out of your running and walking. We will be guiding you through many exercises and drills designed to leave you with a clear sense of what the ChiRunning®/ChiWalking® techniques feel like in your body. We will not be doing lots of running (contrary to what you might imagine), so no matter what condition you're in, have no fear. We will spend the weekend alternating between demonstrations, fun exercises and technique drills......the nature of the classes will be relaxed, full and inspiring. Learn how to finish your runs and walks with a smile, instead of a limp ?:)
About the Yoga
We will be exploring different styles of yoga and breathing exercises. We will learn how yoga can bring balance back into our bodies and lives. Whether you already practice yoga or are new to yoga, we will focus on the idea that having a yoga practice is an integral part of a well rounded program of self care.
Benefits
Why combine yoga with running and walking? In all mindful movement we find health. With ChiRunning®/ChiWalking® and Yoga, the opportunity to listen to our bodies and deepen our Body Mind connection exists. Learning these, together, you will discover how to Be and Move with more mental focus and less physical effort. These practices will keep you healthy, strong, energized and focused....in all aspect of your life.

Workshop details below:
Chris Griffin--- Chris has been a runner his entire life, but, over time, he became fraught with injuries and lost the enjoyment of running. After coming across ChiRunning®/ChiWalking®, his experience of movement...and life, was forever changed. Chris mentored extensively with the founder of ChiRunning®/ChiWalking®; Danny Dreyer, and is now a
Master Instructor. Griffin travels throughout North America, certifying the next generation of ChiRunning®/ChiWalking® Instructors, as well as leading clinics, workshops and private clients. Everyday, Chris is grateful to have the opportunity to share this way of movement with others and watch the joy they experience as they learn an entirely new way to be in their bodies....and their lives. He lives in Mill Valley, California.
