Description
Are you interested in the sport of adventure racing, or are you an experienced adventure racer looking to hone your skills? Either way, this is the race for you. The Central Coast Adventure Challenge Sprint race provides 2-person teams 2 to 5 hours of authentic adventure that welcomes everyone from first timers to racing veterans. Sprint race participants test their skills at kayaking, mountain biking, epic trail running and team challenges. These are great opportunities for ambitious athletes who want to learn more about the sport of adventure racing, or experienced racers looking for another form of competition.
Distance Details
· 3 to 4 miles of kayaking on Santa Margarita Lake using Malibu II kayaks provided by Paddle Sports of Santa Barbara
· 8 to 10 miles of mountain biking that is half single track, half fire road
· 3 to 5 miles of trail running
