Overall this is a great race. The lake is very clean, I think I saw a fish during the swim! The bike course is flat but does include one busy road. A lot of begining triathletes were racing and tended to ignore the pass on the left rule. This led to some scary scenes on the one busy streach of road. Once the course got out onto the country roads it was great. The run was awsome fun, it is a cross country run so that will take of from your time, however, it was really refreshing to run a trail run.
Overall fairly a well organized for a infant event. I will be siging up for it again next year.

This is a great race!! The swim is in very nice water - I even saw fish. A little of the bike is on a busy road, but the rest is fine. I loved having a nice shaded trail run at the end.
