Description
The Anthracite Triathlon will begin and end at Mauch Chunk Lake Park. The 1.5K swim will be held in Mauch Chunk Lake. The challenging 40K bike portion of the race will begin at the lake - pass through the towns of the Panther Valley and Jim Thorpe - and end at the lake. The bike course is entirely on paved roads.† The 10K run will be on the Switchback Trail - a nicely graded rail bed - and paved roads.
